School Team Golf Programme (STGP)

Registration is open for the 2024 Pilot.  2025 Registration will be available in December.

Programme Fees:

• Reg Fee: There will be a once off R80 registration fee per child per year that is due when registering
• Lessons Fee: There will be 7 Group lessons per term for terms 1-3 and 3 in term 4. This will be charged pro-rata if @ R135 pp/lesson if starting mid term. 

The fee for the School Team Golf Programme lessons for the year will be invoiced per term and is payable at the beginning of the term (before lessons start).  Participation is only confirmed once payment has been made.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

By submitting the membership application I hereby agree to the terms and conditions below for the Junior I enrolled/shall enroll for the programme and lessons with the Pure Motion Golf Academy.

 

REGISTRATION, FEES AND PENALTIES:

• All Junior Academy programmes are based on Public School Terms. Private School Term Holidays will not be taken into account when setting lesson dates.
• A year annual non-refundable membership fee of R80 is payable upon registration.
• Pro rata programme fees are available if joining after the term has started.
• All fees are payable in advance / on invoice.
• Optional rounds of golf (at an additional fee of R60/round pp) are to be booked here.
• All lesson fees include the cost of balls and other equipment needed such as clubs and training aids if required by the junior, for the duration of the lesson.
• In the event of inclement weather, and we are unable to coach, a text/WhatsApp or email message to cancel the lesson will be sent by the Academy. Where possible, a make-up lesson for a lesson cancelled due to the weather will be arranged. If we cannot make up the missed lesson your account will be credited.

MISSED LESSONS & LATE ARRIVALS:

• Non arrivals and cancellations will not be credited. We ask that parents commit to the programme for the year so as not to reduce team size and potentially fall below the 4 minimum which would mean the group cannot proceed.
• Late arrivals will result in receiving only the remaining time of the lesson. The Junior is required to arrive 5 to 10 minutes prior to commencement of the golf lesson to check in and warm up.
• The Pure Motion Golf Academy reserves the right of admission and reserves the right to terminate its services at any time during the period of this agreement at the sole discretion of the Director of Golf.

DRESS CODE CLUB/RANGE RULES:

• It is course and club rules that all children are to wear closed shoes/takkies when attending lessons or playing at the club. T-shirts can be worn but no tracksuits.

DEFAULT:

• Should the parent/legal guardian fail to pay any fees, penalties or any other monies punctually on the due date or should the parent/legal guardian commit or permit any breach of the conditions of this agreement, Pure Motion Golf Academy shall have the right to give Seven (7) calendar days’ notice in writing to the parent/legal guardian, to terminate this agreement. Such termination shall not affect the right hereby reserved to Pure Motion Golf Academy to recover all monies that may be due to it by the parent/legal guardian calculated to the date of such termination, and for any damage arising by reason of such breach of the parent/legal guardian, including any loss Pure Motion Golf Academy may sustain by reason of the premature termination of this agreement.
• Should Pure Motion Golf Academy institute action against the parent/legal guardian pursuant to a breach of this agreement then without prejudice to any other rights which Pure Motion Golf Academy may have, Pure Motion Golf Academy shall be entitled to recover from the parent/legal guardian all legal costs incurred by it, including attorney/client costs and collection charges.

UNDERTAKING AND INDEMNITY:

• By registering my child, I understand that I am entering into a legally binding contract to pay all fees due and payable to Pure Motion Golf from time to time and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein.
• I hereby undertake and agree to comply with all the rules and regulations of the Pure Motion Golf Academy and I acknowledge that failure to comply with the rules and regulations will result in the termination of this agreement without notice. I understand that Pure Motion Junior Golf Academy reserves the right to make any changes to its rules and regulations with or without notice if deemed necessary.
• I am aware that golfing involves many risks, dangers and hazards including, but not limited to, slips and falls, being hit by stray golf balls or golf clubs, accidents or collisions involving motorized golf carts, lightning strikes, micro shocks and radiation (Hazendal power lines), encounters with domestic or wild animals, failure to act safely or within one’s own ability or to stay within designated areas, or negligence of other persons. Please be aware that overhead power lines may pose a risk to persons who have a pacemaker. I fully understand and accept that all golf lessons will be undertaken at my own risk and at the risk of the golfer. Acting on behalf of myself and the Junior, I hereby waive any claims which I, the Junior golfer, his/her heirs and/or successors may have against Pure Motion Golf Academy for any and all injuries, losses and damages to the Junior, the Junior’s personal property and my personal property.
• All use of and presence on or close to the driving range, other practice areas and the golf course is at your own risk. You are liable for all loss, injury and damage caused, or suffered, by you while you are on or using the driving range, other practice areas and the golf course. Pure Motion Golf Academy and its owners, employees and contractors are not liable for loss, injury or damage suffered, or caused, by any golfer who is either playing, in a lesson or practising and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, you (1) waive and abandon any such claims by you; and (2) indemnify them from any such claims that arise from your acts and omissions. By using the driving range, other practice areas and the golf course, you accept these terms.
• PMGA is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy, and we’ll only use your personal information to contact you in order to provide the products and services you requested from us. By submitting this and at event registration you consent to PMGA contacting you and acknowledge that photographs and videos may be taken at our events to be used for promotion purposes.
